The WMA (Windows Media Audio) eAudiobooks we offer though the OverDrive service won’t play on Mac computers or Mac formatted iPods (iPods you connect to a Mac computer)  because they use digital rights management (DRM) technology from Microsoft Corporation, and the Mac operating system does not support DRM-protected WMA files.

The majority of the eAudiobooks that we purchase are in MP3 format, a format that can be used on both Windows and Mac operating systems.

To find MP3 eAudiobooks in Overdrive do an Advanced Search, scroll down to the "All Formats" box and choose "Overdrive MP3 Audiobook."  This will limit your searches to that format.

eAudiobooks from OneClickDigital are also compatible with Macs.
