It looks like this might be a compatibility error with the version of Internet Explorer that you are using. Try these instructions from Overdrive.
If the Upgrade button is grayed out after completing the steps [to upgrade Windows Media Player Security], please try this:
Press F12 on your keyboard (or click the Gear icon in the top-right corner, and select F12 developer tools).
From the Developer Tools windows, select Browser Mode: IE10 Compat View, then Internet Explorer 10 Compatibility View from the drop-down.
Try upgrading from http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp again.
If this does not work, go back to step 2, select Internet Explorer 9 from the drop-down, and attempt step 3 again.
