Determining the eBook provider for a specific title in the library catalog can be a bit tricky.
If you are using our Encore catalog (by using the search box at the top of library webpages or signing in via the My Account link), eBooks from Overdrive and 3M Cloud Library are available to check out directly from the catalog. Each will have an option to Checkout/Place Hold with Overdrive or Checkout/Place Hold with 3M. The remaining eBooks without that option are provided by Ebrary, or rarely, by one of our eResources.
If you are using our classic catalog (using catalog computers at the library, or selecting the classic catalog link), most eBooks will list the provider as an additional author. You can see this information when looking at the details about a title under the "Find similar items" tab. This isn't foolproof, unfortunately, and as a last resort, you can select the link to "Access eBook". This will take you into the eBook catalog for that provider. Ebrary eBooks will open directly to the book, allowing you to read without checking it out. 3M Cloud and Overdrive will take you to a page where you can check out the eBook, and both catalogs will list which company provides them in the footer of the page.
