How can I borrow a book on my Kindle app on my iPhone?

To borrow eBooks for use with the Kindle app on an iPhone or other mobile device, use the following steps. You can also download apps for our eBook providers (Overdrive and hoopla) to use for checking out, downloading, and reading eBooks.
- Search our catalog for a particular eBook by title or keyword, or browse our Overdrive library.
- Check out the title by selecting Borrow or Check out with Overdrive. Provide your library card and PIN when prompted.
- Choose Download or Get eBook, then select the Kindle Book format*.
- You will be directed to Amazon. Select Get Library Book. The library eBook will be transferred to the device or app shown in the drop down box by the Get Library Book button.
*Some books are not available in the Kindle Book format. To read these eBooks, we suggest downloading the Overdrive app, which uses the EPUB format.
