The normal transit time for an available item on hold is 3 to 5 business days.

Once the item is at the library you had it sent to, its status will change to 'On Holdshelf' and you will receive a pickup notification by either phone or email (depending on how you have your notification preferences set in your account) the next business day.

If after about a week the item is still showing 'In Transit', you can contact your branch or email and we can see if there is some problem with your hold. Be sure to have your library card number handy if you call or included with the email.
