When the library orders copies of newly released books, the book may arrive a week or more after its release date. Library books are supplied by vendors who may not receive the book from the publishers until its release date. The book must also be fitted with a dust jacket, processed for library use with a barcode and other various library stamps/stickers, and shipped to library locations. When we receive new books, they are checked in right away so that you can enjoy them as soon as possible.
