Q. Is there a way to save my library card and PIN number so that I don't have type them in every time I want to log in to my account?

You can save your library card number and PIN for faster log in from you home computer through your internet browser.  This is done differently depending on the browser you use to get online.

  • Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options > Content. Under AutoComplete, select the "settings" button and click the box next to "usernames and passwords on forms".
  • Firefox: Tools > Options > Security. Check the box next to "remember passwords for sites".
  • Safari: Safari > Preferences > AutoFill. Check the box next to "user names and passwords".
  • Chrome: Menu > Settings > Show advanced settings. Check the "Offer to save your web passwords" checkbox under Passwords and Forms.

For other internet browsers, search for "[browser name] + save website passwords" in your preferred search engine for instructions.
