The amount of items that you can check out depends on the type of card you have.

Most of our customers may check out up to 50 items at a time. Customers who do not have full accounts with us may borrow limited numbers and types of items.

  • All items: 3 weeks
  • Digital Downloads

    • Freegal Music: 5 songs download per week and unlimited streaming

All items may be renewed on or near their due dates, so long as they have not been requested by other customers and they have not been renewed the maximum amount of time.

  1. The Freegal Music limits have changed. You can download 5 songs per week. And there is no limit to the amount that you can stream.
