I receive an "ASCII filter options" pop-up when attempting to download titles to OverDrive, or titles are opening in Open Office or Libre Office.
Answer
Occasionally installing both Open Office (or LibreOffice) and OverDrive Media Console (OMC) can cause a file association error. Basically, what this means is that Open Office is trying to open files that are supposed to open in OMC. To get your audio file working properly, follow these instructions:
Try downloading and opening your title again. If you are still having trouble, you may need to uninstall Open Office/Libre Office and redownload the latest version.

I don't have Overdrive on my computer, but every time I try to open a specific text document the ACSII filter options pops up. How do I fix it? The document is very important to me.
